I work in the tire industry, this is THE WORST thing you can do to mount a tire. Your chances of blowing yourself up are huge, not to mention if belts have broken in the tire they will take your hand off if they rupture. Or better yet, if the wheel is cracked, splits and wipes your face off for you.
