http://www.i-bmw.com/showthread.php?t=28690Up date on grip fix. I thought about it and ordered more wire off Ebay. This time I matched the resistance instead of the wire(gage) size. For a grand total of $7.50 U.S. including shiping...I purchased 30' of 26 gage, Ni 80%-Cr 20% resistance wire. 2.557 ohms per foot. This is pretty much the same resistance as the stock wire. I wrapped it around the inner hand grip,there are grooves for it to sit in so there is no need to measure anything. I soldered the two ends to the old connections and it works like a charm!
