BARCELONA, Spain (AP) _ Crowd violence and the presence of anti-riot police could become a bigger story than Thursday's European championship game between AEK Athens and Kinder Bologna.

Tuesday's two semifinals in the European Final Four were both marked by clashes between baton-wielding Spanish police and fans, most of them Greeks. And it could get worse.

AEK Athens, which defeated Benetton Treviso 69-66 to reach the final, is trying to become the third consecutive Greek team to win the title following Olympiakos last season and Panathinaikos in '96.
