Trigrad Bulgaria
Φιλοι μου καλοι κι αγαπημενοι εχουμε κολλησει στο θεμα Νοτια Βουλγαρια Παμποροβο Νρβιν και συγκεκριμενα στο χωριο Τριγκραντ με τα καταλλυματα.
Οποιος εχει παει κι εχει καλη εμπειρια ας μας πει! Επισης δεκτες και οι οδηγιες για το περασμα του Διαβολου..

Θα παμε στο αγνωστο με βαρκα την ελπιδα κυριοι..
Κι ομως μετα απο τοσα χρονια στο φορουμ μας δεν υπαρχει κανεις που να εχει ξαναακουσει το χωριο αυτο!! Ο συνωστισμος στα πασα της Αυστριας και στα Ακρωτηρια μαλλον ακρωτηριασε τη ροη νεων πληροφοριων για αγνωστα πανεμορφα μερη.  Περισσοτερες πληροφοριες λοιπον απο Δευτερα στο πονημα περι Pamporovo

Σημερα μιλησα με μια φιλη που σπουδασε Βουλγαρια, οταν ακουσε το μερος επαθε πλακα γιατι ειναι ενα απο τα ομορφοτερα που ειδε στην παραμονη της στην Βουλγαρια!
Δεν ξερει για φαραγγια κτλ αλλα μου ειπε οτι θα μας αρεσει πολυ!!! Στάλθηκε από το GT-I9300 μου χρησιμοποιώντας Tapatalk 2

It is lies 26 km south of the town of Devin , and 40 km west of the town of Smolyan. The village will catch your breath with the its elemental and harsh beauty. The houses are situated on the cliffs, surrounded by rock massifs. Narrow stony paths and dirty roads, well trodden by mules and cows, link the isolated neighbourhoods of the village. The narrow asphalt road to the village follows the meandering Trigrad River for a few kilometers before its passes through the breathtaking Trigrad Gorge – e phenomenal natural karst formation with 250-meter high walls on both sides of the road. To the many Bulgarian and foreign visitors and tourists the Trigrad Gorge is the most compelling natural sight in Bulgaria and no doubt that it is worth the 3-hour ride from Sofia and is highly recommended to visit.  The Trigrad Gorge is one of the most spectacular vistas in Bulgaria, its sheer walls overhanging the foaming Trigradska river, which disappears into the fantastic Devil’s Throat cave, accessible via a 150-metre-long tunnel. The thunder of water can be heard long before you see a huge waterfall that through the enormous Roaring Hall vanishes into the canyon, objects swept into the cave are never seen again. The gorge’s west wall reaches 300 m in height, while the east one extends up to 300-350 m. In the beginning, the distance between the two walls is about 300 m, but reaches about 100 m in the north. The Trigrad Gorge is located 1.2 km from the village of Trigrad at 1,450 above sea level and has a total length of 7 km, of which the real part is 2-3 km. It stands 1450 m above sea level, its total length is 7 km and the most interesting part is 2-3 km. The vertical rocks, forming the gorge, rise on the two riversides. The vertical rocks reach 250 m of height.  The region is home to about 150 caves and appeals with equal strength to nature-lovers, climbers and speleologists all over the year. Only two of these, the “Devil’s Throat” and “The Yagodinska cave” are open to ordinary tourists. The “Devil’s Throat Cave” which formed when layers of the mountain collapsed. From here, visitors can travel through a man made tunnel to see the highest underground waterfalls in Europe which cascade 42m (138ft) into the abyss below. And while the former is wilder for its 18 roaring waterfalls and steep passages, the latter is richer in rare cave formations such as “stone curtains” and “cave pearls”. One of the most popular sites at the gorge is Nearby is the famous “Haramiiska Cave” where archaeologists discovered evidence of human habitation dating back over 4,000 years. There are over 150 other caves in the region and the area is popular with rock climbers; numerous companies provide guides and tuition. The region is also popular with birdwatchers who come to see Pallid swifts, Crag martins, Rock Partridges and the rare Wall creeper. For those not fond of extreme adventures, the neighbourhood of Trigrad boasts with one of the best-kept staples, breeding pools open to fishermen, and various well-signed tourist itineraries in the mountains. Trigrad is a starting point for horseback riding, biking, and hiking to the village of Mugla and the Yagodinska cave famous for its unique cave pearls and other formations, as well as for the yielded 7000 years old Neolithic implements.

[42] Trigrad Smolyan District NATURA 2000: Euphydryas aurinia Coordinates: 24° 22’ 40’’ E, 41° 36’ 10’’ N — Altitude: 1231 m — Area: 21734 ha Description: The region is situated in the central part of Western Rhodopi Mountains south of the town of Devin. It has medium and high mountain character and is composed of karst, mainly of marble substrate. The main habitats are forests, rock formations, meadows, and pastures. A large part of the forests are coniferous, composed mainly of Picea abies. Some small territories are occupied by deciduous forests of Fagus moesiaca or by mixed forests of Fagus moesiaca and Ostrya carpinifolia. The region comprises the Buynovo and Trigrad gorges with large rock formations. The rivers of the region are covered by galleries of Alnus glutinosa and Salix mixed with Petasitis. The dank places around rocks and rivers or streams are inhabited by the endemic Haberlea rhodopensis. The lower parts are occupied by single deciduous communities of Sambucus, Corylus avellana, Crataegus monogyna, Tilia, Carpinus, Acer, Fraxinus, Sorbus, and other deciduous species. The butterflies of the region are studied very well. Investigation results were published by Buresch & Tuleschkow (1929) and Abadjiev (2001). The reason for including the area is the presence of important populations of 14 of the target species [see a list below], especially Carterocephalus palaemon, Parnassius apollo, Pieris ergane and Erebia melas. — Target species: Carterocephalus palaemon, Parnassius mnemosyne, P. apollo, Pieris ergane, Maculinea alcon, M. arion, Plebejus sephirus, Coenonympha rhodopensis, Erebia medusa, E. melas, Limenitis populi, Euphydryas aurinia, Melitaea trivia, Brenthis hecate. Protection & threats: The region is highly influenced by industrial and forestry activities, as well as by the water usage and tourism. The forests are threatened by intensive cutting as well as illegitimate cutting outside the strictly protected areas. This leads to changes in the qualities and functions of the forest ecosystems. It also disrupts the natural water balance of the whole region and gives rise to erosion and landslide processes, sometimes causing great damages. Because of its world famous attractions, the region is one of the favourate tourist places in the Western Rhodopi Mountains, including mountain climbing and cave tourism. Dangerous for the region can be the uncontrolled construction of untraditional monolithic buildings as many-star hotel complexes, water catchment systems for small hydropower plants and the increased human presence. The construction of small hydropower plants has started already. As a protection measure we recommend that the Western Rhodopi are proclaimed a transboundary park (as was proposed some years ago) and the acception of a strategy for the sustainable development of the region. Other remarks: In 2005 the territory was declared an area of ornithological importance by BirdLife International. It was proclaimed a CORINE area in 1989 due to its European importance for the preservation of rare and endangered localities, plants and animals. There have been established many butterfly and moth species of conservation importance such as: Hyles vespertilio, Saturnia pyri, Lycaena virgaureae, Lycaena candens, Plebeius eumedon, Polyommatus escheri, Polyommatus nephohiptamenos, Polyommatus orphicus, Erebiia ottomana, Charissa certhiatus, Horysme calligraphata, Idaea metohiensis, Ctenoplusia accentifera, Caradrina suscianja, Apamea rubrirena, Hadena vulcanica urumovi, Hadena drenowskii drenowskii, Standfussiana lucernea illyrica, Epipsilia grisescens, Euxoa conspicia, Chelis maculosa, Phragmatobia placida, Euplagia quadripunctaria, etc. The species Euplagia quadripunctaria was listed in Annex II of the Habitats Directive of the European Union. Πασχάλη το συμπέρασμα είναι ότι πάτε σε ένα μέρος με πολύ όμορφα τοπία,
από υποδομές είναι λίγο διαφορετικά από ότι έχουμε μάθει.... Επαρχιακή Ελλάδα πριν 40 χρόνια και βάλε..  Θα μου άρεσε πάρα πολύ να μείνω στην περιοχή αλλά Κυριακή πρωί έχω σοβαρή οικογενειακή υποχρέωση... (ευχάριστη)
