Fantastic spring day with temperatures between 4 and 13 degrees, which are not just for these latitudes, and in this period, sunshine and a beautiful sky of intense blue. Today I planned a nice ride in motion that will take me north through landscapes and beautiful locations. At 9 o'clock I leave Malmö and headed for my first destination about 70 km near the lake Vomb, Övedskloster
Historia. This is an old monastery founded in 1100 by Eskil of Lund and dedicated to the Holy Trinity. The first monks who settled at Oved Prémontré came from France. Little is known of them, and the old monastery once stood where now is the present castle with its beautiful gardens. Nothing remains of the old structure and new castle with various dependencies was completed in 1776. In quietness and in absolute silence I enjoy this fantastic place, strolling through the gardens open to the public and looking in the distance a flock of birds glide gently over the lake Vomb. Curiously, a small group of llamas graze quietly in a pen just outside the walls of the castle. Back on the bike and along the lake through a beautiful forest to June Löberöds Slott
http://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/L% C3% B6ber% C3% B6ds_slott Another great castle built by Baron Hans Ramel between 1798-1799 surrounded by a typical lake with the same name attached to the castle church. The landscape is that of fairy tales. The castle is built on two floors with a beautiful central octagonal tower and a series of dependencies used for various purposes. The snow still resists high temperatures giving a magical touch to the landscape. I take the bike to come up short in one of the most beautiful and picturesque churches throughout the Scania, the church of Fulltofta. Was built in 1100 next to the farm Fulltofta which belonged at that time to the clergy. E 'was built entirely of stone and contains within it the marvelous paintings dating back to 1400. Refined and elegant baptismal font sandstone still shows part of the original colors, which dates back to the early years of the church. In baroque style, the beautiful canopy of 1700, full of ornaments and sculptures. After the visit, I take this opportunity to make a short picnic in the beautiful field next to the church and take a little 'sun. After the usual coffee, division north towards Hässleholm, on highway 23 meet the Vätteryds Grävfalt a cemetery of the Late Iron Age. The cemetery consists of about 183 menhirs, which together form circles and ships. At the beginning of 1800 was regarded as one of the largest burial sites in Scandinavia. In Origins there were more than 800 stones. From studies that were done many cremations in that period. Allocation towards Brönnestads for inoltrarmi in a beautiful forest until you reach the homonymous church. The church was built in 1100 and dedicated to Mary, and in 1420 were entirely painted many times with magnificent frescoes. The church is one of the most important as it maintains in magnificent condition its bell tower built in 1400, with its red color makes it very picturesque throughout. Unfortunately the church was closed and I could not see the frescoes. I will be a reason for my second visit. Back on the bike after a few kilometers I reach the extraordinary Hovdala Palace
Hovdala slotts historik - Hssleholms kommun a few kilometers from Hässleholms. The imposing mansion was built in 1500 and has played a key role during the war between Sweden and Denmark. The tower dates back to 1600 and still bears the marks of hard battles of that time. The castle was occupied by the owners until 1980 before moving to the property of the municipality and become a national monument in 1947. Are 15.00 and the temperature marks +13 degrees! I relax a bit 'in the sun waiting for a biker friend who wanted to know the occasion and do some' street together. I take this opportunity to make a little 'practice my Swedish and after the presentations and talk together we start to my final destination before you today to return home, Harastorp to visit the lake Algustorpa which is characterized by being divided into two a long arm of land and very popular during the summer. The road that leads through the forest to the lake and the last kilometers we do it with a little 'difficulty for the presence of long stretches of ice that make driving unsafe. More than once I get off the bike to check which direction safely pass. Arrived at their destination the place is magnificent and it is even more beautiful baida wood and yellow with a red roof and blue, being built on the shore of the lake, a true masterpiece. We chat a bit 'between coffee and biscuits then return home. At the next
